In 2005 I contracted with Ben Norris to design, prewire and install sound, video, data, telephone and security in the new house I recently completed in Poway and I recommend him without qualifications. The job was done on time, on budget, and was a quality installation. As an owner- builder I particularly appreciated his rare professionalism and integrity: Ben did exactly what he said he would do when he said he would do it.
I was disappointed after talking to and getting bids from several “home electronics and pre-wire companies” who had elaborate one size fits all plans and expensive systems but very little imagination or experience to install the flexible systems that I had in mind. Ben, however, listened and immediately understood what I wanted to do, incorporated the plan into a series of straight foreword bids. I was confident that Ben had given me the best plan at the best price. Ben, and his subs, were then, on the job when I needed them, their work was clean and fast, and Ben worked agreeably with my shifting needs and conditions( rain delays, framing and plumbing changes etc). I was also pleased with his no-nonsense guidance and assistance in selecting the best value in system components which I now enjoy every day. Finally, he has been only a phone call away and very available when I had questions.
